Grants I have received, in reverse chronological order. Most have directly supported the research and product work documented on the projects page.

2024

Innovate UK ICURe Explore — £35,000
Twelve-week translational research programme run with Innovate UK to explore the commercial potential of Netz, my XR musical instrument. The grant funded customer discovery interviews and an investment-readiness assessment for spinning Netz out beyond the PhD.

Queen Mary Innovation Impact Fund — Netz — £10,000
Follow-on commercialisation funding from Queen Mary’s Innovation Impact Fund. Used to mature the Netz prototype after the MIDI Innovation Awards win and the ICURe Discover cohort, and to prepare the project for the larger ICURe Explore round.

Innovate UK ICURe Discover — £3,500
Initial market-validation programme for Netz. Six weeks of structured customer discovery with industry mentors, which informed the product direction that ICURe Explore later built on.

2023

Queen Mary Innovation Impact Fund — Audio Maps — £10,000
Early-stage funding for the audio-map sample-browsing concept that grew into WavNav. The grant covered the first prototype of embedding-based 2D navigation through large audio libraries.

2020

Austrian Foreign Students Grant
Austrian government bursary supporting my MSc in Sound and Music Computing at Queen Mary University of London.
